Wayne State plans $26M development

Wayne State plans to add a $26 million engineering development center at its main campus over the next five years. Working with corporations and entrepreneurs, WSU President Irvin D. Reid told The Detroit News that he wants to speed everything from cancer diagnosis and treatment to detection of environmental hazards. "Our laboratories are equipped to build the research equipment we need on campus," Reid said.
